Children’s Ministries is at the very heart of the ministry here at The Bridge. We believe so strongly in providing environments for our children that foster a deep and thriving faith that we go to great strides to create a place where kids are safe, secure and have experiences that help them to STAND with and for JESUS!
your first visit!
Look for the check-in area. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
shine (Infant – Kindergarten)
In the Shine Early Childhood hallway, we work diligently to create environments for young children that engage their senses and deepen their love for God’s Word and His people. You might see a preschooler dig in a tub of water fishing for the same fish that Peter caught, see a group of kids “reenact taking care of one another” in the home area, or observe a group of children packing a suitcase to take a trip to the “Promise land” with one of our creative storytellers. We believe that the opportunities to build a foundation of learning and relationship with God, His Word and His people begin as a young child.
Kid Zone (1st – 4th grades)
KidZone is a place where kids can come and hang out and enjoy hearing God’s Word in fun, creative ways as well as get a chance to delve into the Bible with a leader or friend. Wacky characters, energetic worship, genuine leaders, fun games, great friends and lots of fun make up our Sunday mornings. The BEST hour of any kid’s week!
CHILD DEDICATION
We follow the example of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1 where she brought her son, Samuel, to the temple to be dedicated to the Lord for his whole life. If you are interested in more information and/or registration for dedication, please submit the Dedication Application Form and we will contact you with the date of the next Dedication Preparation Class.
kids baptism
Water Baptism is an outward expression of an inward belief in Jesus as our Savior. It is also our chance to declare Jesus as Lord and Savior in front of family and friends – becoming one of the most significant spiritual milestones in a Christian’s spiritual walk. A parent/spiritual mentor must accompany their child to a Baptism class. This is a beautiful opportunity for you to help guide your child through this process of learning and discovery as our Children’s Pastor facilitates the class.
The Ride Home...
The ride home is one of the very best times to talk to your children about what they did and what was taught in our kids ministry!
Make sure to ask them 'did you have fun?' and 'what did you learn?' One of our goals is that each child has a positive answer to these questions.
